Wasn’t that the last 747 built by Boeing? I don’t know how many have the Kuehne+Nagel on the side, but I thought I remembered this paint scheme being on the last queen.

Your best work yet!

It's a real snooze at the observation lot when they are landing on 2C and taking off on 2R.  But really good views if you are right off Harding Place near Antioch Pike.

Today, for the first time, I saw one of these beasts shortly after takeoff. I live just east of the airport and went out for a walk around 2:15, just in time to catch Atlas in flight. It’s impressive!

(Without your posts, Sean, I wouldn’t have really known what I had witnessed.)

It is crazy when they have low approach landings coming from the west. They approach directly over my house and it rattles the entire place haha!

My neighborhood is not in the direct path of runway traffic, but this takeoff seemed quieter than some smaller planes from the distance of my observation.

The American MD-82’s and 83’s that they used until maybe 5 years ago used to be the loudest at BNA. Which is funny because they only had the capacity of a smaller 737. I used to live in Bellevue and FedEx’s daily 757 to Memphis would fly overhead every evening, and I learned to tell it by the sound of its engines.
