and this is my native city 130-70 years ago...

the oldest Mosow church in Kremlin (built in 1330 :thumbsup:, "killed"=destroyed in 1933; retrophoto: 1882)

the heart of Moscow, Russia is Red Square : 1870 vs 08/2005 (Retro vs Nowadays)

(some people can't believe in "1870" variant - the difference is too great!)

Aerial view looking towards Mill Mountain over the South Roanoke neighborhood. Hey I can see my house from here. I grew up in the last visible house in the lower left of the photo. It's more visible in the original scan.

Those Charlotte pics are amazing. In the 1975 pic it almost looks like the Pentagon with the Washington Monument in the middle! :blink: Any ideas what that structure was?

^^Thanks! I thought they were nice too.... I have no idea about that structure though, but I know it is Charlotte because of the 9 pyramid building on the right side of the 1975 picture (it was torn down though :( ).....
