Bizjournals sure isn’t going to shape my optimism or pessimism on any project

Remember those 1.5 days that Anji from OBJ posted here?

No!  For real?

Makes sense since we've had folks post on here that work for Bungalower, Orlando Weekly and Daily City. Now we just need someone from the Sentinel!

This is obviously one that we can all get excited about as far as added denisty and  skylilne impact.  Finally getting  one taller than SunTrust is awesome.  But just nitpicking here its kind of a shame that it is right where it is in that from the east it will hide the iconic BOA ' stair step' Building and from the west it will be hidden, except for the very top by the same (BOA) building.   But maybe more of a little gripe is that in the illustrations so far it looks like it will be just like the Vue with another visor on top and no real character otherwise.   This one may be the tallest but it wont be iconic, unfortunately, in my humble opinion..

What could be iconic is the tree. If they think a little outside the box, they could do something very unique and command a premium as a result.

There's another option, if the developers were generous and conscientious of such things, or maybe willing to share the cost with some wealthy, tree-loving benefactor(s) who were to step up....

Put it over in Constitution Green or the SE corner of Eola Park in that new open field area.

City has some great things to say about Zoi House. Looks like their for it being the tallest building in Orlando.

“ARB staff is not opposed to the light boxes, or to roof top amenity decks, but staff also be- lieves the proposed tallest building in the city should have a more distinctive and unique skyline appearance.”

Basic. Can the ARB recommend them to give Norman Foster, Zaha Hadid or Calatrava a call?

Are the red mark means they are making this building to have curve exterior instead of rectangular block??
