Seeing the rebar in a pile makes me wonder if I've seen this done before.  Some effort must be expended to make this happen.  Is this normal or has the steel shortage encouraged demo companies to do more of this?

This seems to happen more and more often now. I have seen it is a lot now. There seems to be more of an effort to recycle as much as possible these days. If it is an older building, I have actually seem the bricks bundled and hauled away, but that is rare.

I’ve noticed bricks hauled away at most demo sites. My bet is that someone is willing to pay decent money for aged bricks.

I can live with some bad news on other projects (Beaman…) as long as this one gets built to design.

I've been consoling myself in a similar fashion, yet my list is a bit longer with what I'd like to see built to design to get me past that which shall not be named.

I would love to have a condo in this building

I would too but what has stopped me from buying one in any of the buildings downtown are the huge monthly fees that are at least $300 which are going to keep going up if you ever move in.  I don't feel like that would be a smart thing to do.
