For the third time Greensboro will host the. U.S. Figure Skating Championships. The prestigious event is televised nationally and internationally.

This year will begin a new format and Greensboro is the only city to host the event 3 times within a 10 years period since Colorado Springs after World War II.

Detroit will host the 2019 championships

In addition the ACC Men's Basketball Tournament will return to Greensboro in 2020 after a long absence.
