BridgePark Project

Style Weekly has a great update on the BridgePark project. It seems to be influenced by New York's High Line and Chicago's Millennium Park. I think kind of spectacular development would do a lot for the image of Richmond and would create a new destination for residents. It would be interesting to see if this would inspire residential development in an area that is currently all office buildings:

As awesome as this looks, I put the odds at Richmond doing something so forward thinking that also eliminates lanes of traffic at 0.0%

I like the 9th street corridor connection aspect and the attention given to the Marshall House.  John Marshall should be celebrated far more than he is, especially in Richmond.

Generally, I am in favor expanding the traffic calming devices mentioned in the article.
