I’m hoping Truliant’s lawsuit is successful, every time I think I start to like Truist I remember how stupid it sounds. SunTrust is such a good name, I wouldn’t mind the bank keeping it. I wonder what other options they considered, either way the marketing team needs to be fired lol.

If either of the two were to keep their name I would assume it would be BB&T in the drivers seat calling the shots, as they are the larger of the two firms. I know they call it a merger of “equals”, but BB&T has a market cap almost 50% larger than that of SunTrust. But I digress...I’m also in the camp of “hate the name”.

Who knows , maybe we get lucky and Truliant does win their suit. Wishful thinking, but it’s at least a possibility.

Hearst Tower Truist Tower :: Sears Tower : Willis Tower

I'm hoping they will call it Truist Center or Truist Plaza. That would have a better ring to it.

I’m all about alliteration. Truist Tower has a better ring to it than Truist Center or Truist Plaza if you ask me, but it’s still going to be hard to stop saying Hearst.

Omg that’s exciting. Hopefully it’s a similar thing like Duke Energy did. Building a towers that rivals its iconic tower. I’m here for another Hearst Tower but more modern.
