Today.  This SUV driving suburbanite found a parking spot 3 blocks away and went to lunch nearby.  The Lowes tower underway and the pile driver was out nearly cracked my taco in two.

Full. Speed. Ahead.  Today in the immediate area for lunch.   Childress Klein and Lincoln Harris get it done.  Not much talk just action.

so many workers on site.   This tower was not talked about then announced then started 30 days later.  The Charlotte way for the most part.  Today.

Honestly with the speed at which they’re installing Bearing Piles and excavating embankment for any Lower Building Levels, there will probably be a Tower Crane Installed on this site sometime before the end of this year.

Does anyone know if the Building Rendering shows or mentions any type of Aesthetic Lighting?  It’d be really cool if the Uptown lighting scheme began to creep its way into the burgeoning Southend Skyline.  Like Railyards, DFA, Lowe’s Tower, Common Square, etc.   

Heck - I’d love to see something like that go on in future SouthPark/Ballantyne High Rises

Is this the thread for the Superica Tower?  I noticed the base for the tower crane is in.  No pics, but I assume @KJHburg has a webcam trained on it.

Yes the aptly name Superica tower aka Lowes Tech Tower across the street

I spot a crane base at the Lowes Tech tower site today.  Was in the area for lunch.

yes I too saw the crane constructing the tower crane today whilst in the area for lunch.  South End rising the tallest office tower in SE for now at least.

Good pic, the area looks great from the air.  Can’t wait to see the new projects come online around this one.  South end is truly becoming a second downtown.

I think the site is confined enough for just one tower crane to be enough.

Today.  This is moving fast too.

and yes I count this as vertical and I got a glimpse of what the outside cladding will look like at the mockup.  Today while in the area for lunch.  Marine Layer tee shirts are so super soft and it was somewhat busy in that small store. 

FYI this new 23 story building is taller than the 21 story building underway for Amazon in Nashville by about 60 feet.

Its amazing that they broke ground on this thing yesterday and today there is a tower crane, a pit, and some pillars...not to mention the most pictures of any tower on UP

was in the area for a little birthday celebration at a nearby restaurant.  This tower is flying up.  They were working pass sunset on it.  Childress Klein can get things done for sure.
