I want to like it, but IMO, it only looks good from the northeast corner (the only part of the structure with any architectural detail). From every other vantagepoint, it's a big version of the old BellSouth (now Wells Fargo) building on Brevard St.

Those views had me thinking literally that same exact thing the other day.

Comparing uptown charlotte to downtown atlanta and midtown atlanta to this area...maybe I can see that. But Charlotte does already have a clearly defined midtown.
