At some angles I’m like wait a minute this one is supposed to be taller than Endeavor! But at other angles I can see the proper height difference  Definitely hard to tell sometimes though.

I know a bunch of us say it for every building, but seriously this one would’ve been amazing if it was taller! Don’t get me wrong, it looks awesome as it is . Just daydreaming here .

I typically like density and street activation over height but this thing should be at least twice the size.

Yes, it's fantastic as-is, but even just another 80 feet or so would've given this thing a more proper 'umph' in the Nashville skyline.  Oh well, I'll still take it any day of the week.  And I hope the super high quality of this and the other GBT projects bodes well for what we'll see at the Beaman site and in River North from them.

^^^^your absolutely right, I can’t wait to see what they have planned on those sites! When it was announced that GBT was involved with the Beaman site , I almost dropped my I-pad !! My hands still sweat, when I think about what can be. Hopefully it’s as fantastic as their other projects .

Agree.  Imagine if it was twice as tall and they basically did the reverse design with the windows from the midway point up.  It would look like elongated diamonds.  That might have been the only way to achieve the window design if it was taller with the same footprint.

Perhaps it's just me and I'm okay if it is.  One of the characteristics of smaller cities and their downtowns is that you typically pass by the skyline as opposed to going through it.  I like it when a city's downtown is right up next to the interstate and surrounding it.  It feels more "big cityish" to me for some reason.  If you've ever driven through downtown Seattle or LA, you'll likely understand what I mean.  And now with One22One joining the GU office building and 1200 Broadway, Nashville is starting to have that as well, at least when riding on I-40.  When Modera McGavock, the rest of GU,  the Reed District, and hopefully something fun at Beaman  join the party, it will cement that feel.  Giddy-up Nashville, giddy-up!
