I've seen a lot of views from planes and helicopters and this city is like a forest of highrise buildings.  They may not be as tall as the ones in NYC or Hong Kong but in terms of quantity I've heard it may have upwards of 40,000 of them and I don't believe that anyone has really documented this information on the skyscraper websites that keep track of that sort of thing.  You can even see it on Google Earth, it's absolutely massive, you could hide downtown Nashville in the middle of it and it would take awhile to find it!  I would love to visit this city!
