Yes. Very weird. Must be the crime. Just like North Nashville is too crimey for a baseball stadium.

This is obviously anecdotal, but I've found myself feeling much more unsafe in my six years in Nashville (living in "nice" areas) than I did in my 20+ years in Memphis, and I lived in the middle of the city for many of those years.

I think people forget that Nashville's crime rate is...not great. I highly recommend the Crime Mapping tool, if for nothing else to monitor what's going on in your neighborhood: https://www.crimemapping.com/map/tn/nashville

Being informed and aware of your surroundings is the best thing  you can do regardless of a city's crime rate.

I’m in Pohang, S. Korea for the week.  Although a city of a half million, it doesn’t have a traditional skyline.  It does have a LOT of hi-rise residential towers. Heading to Seoul Friday and will try to get some shots there.  Here are a few random ones from Pohang.

It's the most heavily militarized border in the world! Solid Snake couldn't infiltrate that border! 

South Korea is amazing. I hope you get to take lots of photos in Seoul. I haven't been there in more than 10 years. I can't imagine how it's changed

I'll keep the Korea theme going - here are some "everyday" shots from when I lived in Changwon, SK. It's crazy how different the perception there is. This was a quiet, unassuming city of a million residents. My coworkers complained that it was boring with nothing to do, but I felt like there were tons of fun activities with a bunch of variety.

Couldn't really get around well, so my shot opportunities were limited.  Visibility was really poor at a distance as well.  Was disappointed I couldn't get close to the Lotte Tower.  First two shots were from my room in the GH Seoul.

I just looked at that building on Google Earth because it looks so odd.  It looks like the whole interior section must have been gutted by a fire or something.
