What is the world is the "HBO" anchor?  I am surprised they would not tear off the roof and have an open air shopping district.  Otherwise it is a good plan.

MUSC Medical Office 275,000 square feet

General Office Building 1,400,000 square feet

Multifamily Housing (High Rise) 1,025 dwelling units

Assisted Living 200 beds

Government Office Building/Civic 15,000 square feet

Hotel 500 rooms

Arena 200,000 square feet

City Council gave final reading last evening on approval of Epic Center PUD which will allow buildings up to 18 floors on select parcels of the development.

What went wrong with Citadel Mall?

When I went there, maybe 15 years ago, it still had Parisian (always a sign of a nicer mall) and seemed like a regular mall otherwise.  I don't recall seeing a high vacancy rate or anything that indicated a problem, although I've never been to Northwoods Mall to compare.

Charleston seems like Greenville in that the nicer stores go downtown now.
