Remember that only the County Square development is required to have affordable housing. No other development downtown is required to have it due to the county not being involved with those. It’s the city’s way of saying screw you to Greenville County.

I thought Unity Park is zoned to have a pretty good amount of affordable housing

That is because the city doesn't own those sites.  They do own the ones around Unity Park and you better believe that affordable housing will go on them. The one project that is already in the pipeline already does.
