No that is office, and retail on the bottom floor.

I know in another thread someone mentioned the above rendering isn't imminent it's more marketing material to show what's possible given the updated TOD designation of the site.  Think more that the original Railyard size building is what's likely, though if anyone out there shopping for 1M square feet likes this site then what's above is possible if they were to sign up.  Sounds like we should take it for what it's worth versus expecting shovel in the ground soon.

Now this is a cool office building that they will be building spec

and SouthEnd is getting really, really great developments. IMO, the architecture going up in SouthEnd and LoSo (is this a thing now? I remember first hearing of LoSo thinking that would never be a thing lol).

I have finally and begrudgingly come to accept the fact that yes, this is indeed a thing. 

This naming approach needs to stop. It was neat when the first few cities did it but now it's just ridiculous.

I know of a site near midnight diner that is what I believe to be the 400 ft candidate.

Is that the current Enterprise site?  Someone said recently that LendingTree’s views would soon be blocked and they were already aware of this fact.  That would sync with this site.

Can Beacon acquire Crescent and  Lincoln Harris? These buildings are better.

I don’t know who Beacon’s capital partner is on this, but it’s possible they financed it internally (the founder is HNW) which is why they can take a design-driven, long term approach to the properties they develop. Childress Klein is capitalized similarly. Crescent and Lincoln Harris both partner with hot, opportunistic equity that cares about maintaining a low basis in projects (cheap) and making a quick profit. Architecture and how a building fits into the fabric of the city aren’t a consideration for those equity groups.
