So awesome this has started.  Can't wait to see an updated render! 
Looks a bit like Endeavor, but maybe a bit sharper.

My gut is telling me they may switch back if it is build at all. We do not know if they have a development partner and Vastland will not be able to go this alone.

From today's NBJ:  Asked to clarify, Vastland's owner Mack McClung called it a "hotel/condo-resi building." In an email, McClung added: "The plan is to operate as [a] luxury, all-suite, heavily amenitzed hotel with guest suites twice the size of typical/traditional hotel rooms being built in the market."

Translation:  We will be able to convert this to apartments or condos if the hotel business never comes back.
