LG Development Group has sold the 2 acre A+ Storage site for $36 million to an LLC affiliated with Camden Property Trust, a residential developer out of Houston.  LG had bought the property just 2 years ago for $25 million.  This new price works out to $18 million per acre. Camden owns 174 residential complexes with over 59,000 units and had revenues over $1 billion in 2020. No word if they plan to keep the same plans for a 16 story mixed-use project, or if they will move in a different direction.

Bummed about losing the previous design, but very intrigued to see what they'll do to 'take cues' from the Virgin Hotel, which is very attractive.  Cautiously optimistic.

Would also expect it to get very beefy with almost 500 units but still only 16 stories.
