Puerto Rico US Territory

Recommended Posts

Should be topic or thread at least.  Old San Juan is the oldest city in American territory.  Settled by the Spanish in 1521.  This city should be a must see on any American's list of places to visit.  Major cruise port of course but I would fly here and take a walking tour which is the only way to really city Old San Juan.

Here are some photos of the Viejo San Juan from this week.  (and this is just a sampling of what Old San Juan has to offer)

Some photos of Old San Juan from San Christobal.  Great views of the old city and new city and port.   Yellow house is reputed smallest house in San Juan.

Mall of San Juan the newer high end mall with Nordstrom as an anchor and which Saks just closed their store there (that is due more to their overall problems)

Many unique to PR stores here but not as busy as  Plaza Las Americas for sure.
