Binbin98 1063 Report post Posted March 3, 2020 It hurts me to see this happen. I was just in east nashville over winter break to see a friend. I have absolutely no idea if they are alright or not because they are not responding to my texts, however they didn't live in the 'tornado zone' apparently which is encouraging. I saw on the news here in New York City that the tornado was said to have hit hermitage, donelson, the nations, germantown and east nashville. Damage is in those areas so be careful driving around them. Lots of Love from NYC 5

smeagolsfree 20294 Report post Posted March 3, 2020 Looks as if the 5 Points area was hit very hard. Remember we have a number of posters on the forum that live in this area. Germantown Vista was hit, Burger Up looks to be gone. Severe damage along Mc Ferrin and Main. The roof of the Farmers Market was hit but it is serving as a shelter. We will know a lot more with daylight.

I've seen these before-and-after images from Five Points floating around Twitter and I can't find the original source, but given the severity of the situation I'll go ahead and share them sans credit: Edited March 3, 2020 by VSRJ
