Helps to obscure the ghastly Haven, which looks like something you’d see on the Moscow Ring Road.

The Haven looks like a building from something out of the Soviet Union from the 1950s/60s. Then someone threw some bright paint on a side or two, to "modern" it up. LOL

Some have called it the Gulch Jail.

It’s (the Haven) the sort of building that will deteriorate and be razed in ten years. It’s a placeholder.

It’s great to see more buildings with accent lighting. Such a nice enhancement to the skyline after dark.

I guess I'm in the minority that very much dislikes this rope light accent lighting. Just seems kinda the lazy way out. Too tacky.

I don't find it tacky, yet I agree with you.  I'd prefer a bit more creativity.  As an example, I'm a HUGE fan of how Alcove did it. The one that bothers me the most is the Grand Hyatt.   Different strokes for different folks.  That one doesn't work for me.
