It really is a shame that this building will be next to Haven. Great architecture with some serious height (especially with the base elevation being so high) and it's right next to one of the most bland buildings in downtown Nashville.

If the city could have somehow demanded better cladding on Haven, it wouldn’t be such an eyesore.  The stucco is bad…but the paint job is tragic.

I agree, it would have been beautiful if it was brick!  But thankfully the Albion is becoming more prominent as it rises and the cladding it has is beautiful!

Has anybody heard any more rumblings on 6th Avenue/Division developments?   The on street parking where that van is parked (in Markhollin's nice photo below) was intended to be an entrance/valet drop off for a couple of the towers that were planned at that parcel a few years ago.   Division seems to be picking up steam on the 8th Avenue side to the bridge.

The website mentions choosing from one of two finishes for the interior of the unit. That makes me think condos.

This is a good point and makes Condos a possibility.   

It is also pretty common for high-end buildings like this to have different finish packages for their units to try and attract residents. Rather than taking the monotone approach, they are catering to a higher-end clientele so they are showing that in the finish selections. 

Is there a direct quote from the developer that I am missing that specifically says condos?

It is definitely all apartments.  The mention of choice between unit finishes refers to some choices that residents will have - different cabinet/countertop color combinations, the ability to choose between finished ceilings vs. concrete ceilings, the ability to choose between flooring options in the bedroom and the ability to choose between a solely standup shower option in a one bedroom or a standard bathtub/shower option.   The East and West towers will each have two main finish packages to select from.  The goal was to not create a commoditized product with 415 apartments that are exactly the same.
