I was wondering what was going on yesterday morning when I saw a police car escorting three tow trucks on Graham, each carrying a new-looking Mustang.

Cars of the SC okay South Carolina.  Coming up I-95 and I-77 respectively saw 2 of the new Broncos Sport.  One heading to PA and one to Ohio.   This is the FIRST time I have seen these out in the wild so to speak.   The Bronco is back baby!

Today.  @Mgelbach this is what I saw.

I've seen a lot of those Bronco Sports in Raleigh.  They're kinda meh, really just an Escape that uses the Bronco name to mortgage a few extra sales.  The actual Bronco will be the one to have.  My birthday is soon so if anyone wants to order me a Bronco 2 door Black Diamond with the manual transmission, that would be an awesome present!

That is a Jaguar XF Wagon (or Estate as they say in the UK).  Very rare sighting in the US.  Sales were so low that the wagon model was discontinued after only a few years on the market, which is a shame because it was a great-looking car that was also very practical.

Seen in Cary a few weeks ago, another rare European car...

Lotus Evora 400, arguably the most under-appreciated sports car ever built.  The numbers on paper won't blow you away, but the driving experience will.  Lotus is known for building some of the best-handling cars ever, and everyone who has ever driven one of these cannot stop talking about how fun to drive it is.  All Evora 400s are powered by Toyota-sourced 3.5 liter supercharged V6s mounted behind the seats, and comes standard with a six speed manual transmission (unfortunately, an automatic is available as an option).  (Fortunately this one had the correct transmission).  The Evora line is about to be replaced by a new model called the Emira which will offer the same powertrains as this, as well as a turbocharged four cylinder from Mercedes-AMG mated to a dual-clutch automatic.

From BBC Top Gear About Lotus Evora: "This is steering feel".

One of these days, I need to figure out how to get behind the wheel of an Evora to see how its steering feel stacks up to my BMW, which when new was lauded as one of the best-handling sporty luxury cars ever built. It certainly has the best steering that I have ever experienced, can't imagine how much better a Lotus could actually be, but my expectations are high.
