MDHA Design Review Committee approved the concept plan today. L&L Nashville officials are now slated to go before the Metro Planning Commission Downtown Code Design Review committee on Sept. 10 to request a height modification for 9 stories facing 2nd Ave.

I actually love how this looks. I think the Lord & Liberty concept was decent, but the fact that the building to the north of it would've been so large by comparison, and there would've been additional floor space built on top of the fire station, felt like a bit too much for a historical structure. The kitchen add on for this is really minimal and the indoor/outdoor space looks like it'll really pay homage to how special the space is. I hate the name though lol
