More than two decades after construction started, Majesty building sits uncompleted

From The Sentinel

Due to the increasing popularity of working from home, by the time it’s ever finished, it may well be a building without a purpose.

I suppose it would make splendid residences for local Fundies, especially if they donated to build it.

I bet you if the assessed value was more than a vacant lot, this thing would have been completed 2 decades ago since revenue from leasing would have been needed to pay the taxes

In Casselberry, plans to have ‘every resident in walking distance to a park’ underway
https://www.orlandosentinel.com/news/seminole-county/os-ne-seminole-casselberry-parks-hurricane-damage-20221201-6vl3cegulvbkpaagojefllkoai-story.html

Who knew? A new area, “Wheel Park”, is being created with special facilities for those in wheelchairs. It will also have the city’s first skate park.

From The Sentinel

Tha article notes a couple of live oaks were lost during Ian. Unlike some other, ahem, local “Tree Cities” hereabouts that would just plant a seedling as replacements and call it a day, Casselberry is working with the nonprofit Friends of the Park to purchase mature trees instead.
