Anyone know why there’s a gap in the concrete panels they added on to the parking ramp? I thought they’d fill it in, but now that it’s going vertical it doesn’t seem to be the case. Just curious.

A place for something artistic like the other building to the SE with the architectural corner detail hidden in the "alley"?  Only visible from inside the ramp? (see sarcasm emoji :( )

Looks like the elevator/stair core is filling in that gap.

Sounds like the café is on the top floor and there’s not much else going on for street-level interaction.

Petrified doesn’t own the building, so I’d assume ground level / other tenants would be announced by Rockford Construction. As they get further along.

Drove around this weekend and took some photos. You can really see how this building is going to change the whole look in this area. Even though it's a liner building, it feels substantial. Also, at 3 floors (of 10), I have to think it's going to feel taller than the surrounding buildings. The whole development looks pretty impressive (Doug Meijer Building, etc).

Going to 10 stories total, correct?

Correct. 10 stories with the top 3 sitting above the parking ramp with a wider footprint. As far as I can tell, it'll top out a little taller than the MSU building next door. It definitely adds density to that intersection with the building sitting close to the street.
