It's a little presumptuous to show that space under the Broadway bridge as open. It could easily be filled in to shorten the length of the bridge as part of the CM/GC design process.

Really great design IMO. Love the Orange/Rust colored metal beams along Broadway, but I hate the Broadway vehicular street access. If they are going to have multiple other entrances into this building, why even put that there! I digress…

Also the residential tower is now split into residential and hotel. With this being such a large tower, relatively speaking, should we expect a brand on the level of the Conrad or even Four Seasons? Especially since this will neighbor the Edition across the street.

I just love the street activation at Porter and 11th Avenue. Even if the office has to wait a bit, I hope the residential and retail buildings get started asap.

I agree wholeheartedly as I expressed a few months back...

IMO, this is a linchpin development/site.  Not only for the major impact it could have on the skyline (especially as you come through downtown on 40), but with it's location, it would expand the central core westward, cement the link between downtown and midtown, lift the height profile of the emerging Broadway canyon (albeit one-sided at this point), reach diagonally across the aisle to help link the circle projects into  a massing downtown area, and provide relative /decent height to mesh well with what hopefully will be good height at the Beaman and Reed sites.

Those were my thoughts back on 8/25th...unfortunately before we heard about Beaman.  This project has me smiling.

It will definitely bridge a major gap between downtown and midtown, which I think is one of the most exciting aspects of this project. Having retail on each street level helps with that too.

I explicitly remember this rendering where it has arrows pointing to the Gulch, Downtown, and Midtown, kind of showing that it's smack dab in the middle of it all!

I am so glad you guys see my stupid humor, or it could be roasted crane on a stick but I don't think that would be very tasty. 

I do think we are going to see a whole lot of construction especially in the multi-family sector as rents took a 100 dollar jump over the last three months with occupancy at 96% for apartments in Nashville. The average rent from what I saw last night on the news was 1500  a month. So the residential portion of this project along with many other projects seem to be looking good as the market is strong and there seems to be a lot of room for growth as these units seem to fill as soon as they are built.

The skateboarders are gonna be all over that!  But yeah, I agree.  I know this project doesn't have the height that people wanted, but absolutely love it due in large part to all of the high quality and unique public spaces it is creating for the city.

The middle of the stairs are lit at night too. I drove by last week and they are pretty cool.

Looks like it's a great connector between Church and 11th/Gulch. Key piece of the 'puzzle' that's becoming downtown. These steps and the ones at the Gibson tower should make that area very friendly for pedestrians.  When that first lowrise apartment building was built a few years ago, I imagined that 12th/Porter area could be a cool hub for nightlife. With Pins Mechanical, it's on its way there. Would be great if the Gulch Central gets going soon.

It will be cool when the other staircases like the Gibson and Gulch Central ones are finished as it's gonna give another layer of liveliness to the area IMO. In the sense that I could see a lot of people just chilling on these stairs all the time whether it's for lunch or rest or whatever, kinda how people do at a museum or something.

If/when this project moves forward and meshes with the Gibson, Edition, One22One, and potential Modera and Market Street action, that 12th street run (cluster!!!) will be a sweet one.

Agreed, I'm looking to buy a condo in this area in 2023-2024. I think it'll be the best part of the city to conveniently live.
