...and dang, If i were Ferris I woulda put a clause in the sale of my building that says you can't put in a Starbucks, LOL.  They were still building this one out but it looked to be just a few weeks from opening.

Wow, seriously? Ferris had great locations before Covid. Crazy to see Starbucks slide right in.

Scooters on Plainfield should be open anytime soon as they were kicking butt on construction.  It looks pretty good.

They built that crazy fast! I have never tried their coffee, but that new building does make that ugly shopping center look a little nicer.

Looks like Shift on Fulton is closing at the end of the month. Second coffee shop in that spot to close. You'd think they'd do well being close to campus.

Last Mile coffee is opening their cafe on Hall on Dec 4

I went to Last Mile’s grand opening on Sunday (crazy busy!) and have been back twice since. It’s really good. Their “Last Miel” (made with maple syrup) is delicious. Good wifi, too (appears to be ATT fiber).

They’re open every day from 7am-4pm. I overheard them saying that Schuil currently roasts their beans to their specifications, but they’re working on building their own roasting operation.
