Crane gear on site. Wondering if these may actually be parts from the Canopy/Homewood Suites crane across the street which has been partially taken down due to being off kilter.  Yates is the contractor on that site as well.

Yates seems to be having some issues these days. They have a lawsuit concerning the roof at the Embassy suites too. In fairness, the crane could be the contractor that laid the pad or the Iron workers that put the crane up.

Come to think of it---these parts may very well be elements of the crane from across the street at Canopy/Homewood Suites that has been taken down because it was off-kilter.  Yates is the contractor on both of these sites.

Biked through here yesterday and, yeah, it’s  a real cluster.  I do hope the lane closures are only temporary .

The water/sewer work continues on this one.  For the second night in a row only one lane is open on Division and two traffic control people are down there all night.  Based on the pace of work, this may not get cleared up until this weekend, at best.  The traffic really backs up during rush hour so keep that in mind when choosing to drive through The Gulch.

A shell permit worth $43.4 million has been granted for Yates Construction to begin structural work.

Yates told the Terrazzo building manager that they will blast at least once a day until mid-June.  Actually, they've been blasting twice a day.  For the last few days, the dump trucks are sometimes waiting on Division as lots of rock and dirt are carried off site.

The exterior wall is progressing nicely.  At the bottom of the photo, you can't see that the excavation is down to the third level of parking in Terrazzo.

The sewer work in the street has progressed from in front of Otaku Ramen and is now almost to the property line of A+ Storage.  I'm guessing this same line will be used by the building to go up there in a few months.
