Speculation is fun!  Any thoughts on who turns dirt first between Cumulus, Park Place, and Reed District?

That all depends on how long the three musketeers hold up with the erroneously stupid lawsuits. If they continue, I’d say Reed might make it to shovels in the ground first. However, if this next judge tosses out the case, and they are ready to go, Park Place is by bet.

Yea, I think Park Place will be first out the gate. I also think the 3 Mouseketeers may get tossed on their ears by the judge sooner rather than later on this one. Precedence is on the side of Metro I think.

There are several in Atlanta and Miami over 500’…and they’re south of KVB.

Good point.  I guess I mean below away from KVB proper.  I'm thinking of the area between say Peabody/Lea south to 40.

I will place my bet that yes I think so. Maybe on the Rescue Mission site, or City Winery, possibly the 8th s Gleaves st block.

The project White Lodging is doing is still calling for 750 guest rooms according to the latest water sewer filings. A St Regis normally has a lot fewer rooms and is heavy on luxury condos like the Ritz & 4 Seasons. So, I suspect this will be a new location.

I have not heard anything yet, but always keeping my ears open, but there are a number of other projects in the planning phase in the works that have not been made public. Some of which I can't even talk about at the meet.

I could possibly see it going in at 2nd Peabody, in the 18 floor hotel. Or possibly Paseo South Gulch, as the revamped tower 2 is hotel + condo.
