I’m still holding out hope that this is closer to 1 million sqft. That webpage hasn’t been updated since it went live back on December 27th and the actual 1111 S Tryon site is still under construction. I’ve also been keeping an eye on when they add a Charlotte office to their main page - currently have Chicago and Denver.

Jesus Christ, each day, hundreds of thousands of federal, state, local workers pore over reams of data and analytics to keep America in relative peace from foreign government actors, to shore up our cyber-defenses, to evaluate adequacy of water and sewage systems, to refurbish highways, safeguard ports, etc.  We're not perfect, but the idea that you can't find anything done to benefit US citizens is just a profound lack of grace - sorry I don't have much humor on this.  By the way, this isn't some monarchy where you're a commoner who must supplicate officials to get the basics.  You're in a democratic republic.  The government isn't some far away entity.  It's a clunky manifestation of the national will.

Sorry, as I admitted, no humor in this.  Life is serious.  After Jan 6 and the profound polarity that has surfaced in this country, and after seeing Ukrainian democracy bloodily pummeled by an autocrat's whims, I stopped finding the humor in cheap shots at our Gov't.  You have a right to take all the cheap shots you want, and I have the right to respond.

But back to the thread title, intrigued to see release of Riverside's dev plans.

This is an amazing development and I love the architecture. I wish there would have been a crown or some structure on the top of the office tower, but that's me being knit picky. Otherwise this is an amazing and transformative project!

So this is basically going to be three skyscrapers at once right? That is going to be transformative for the skyline. They look very elegant, to be honest I like the smaller ones more than the central tall one.

These look fantastic, very excited to watch the towers of 1111 S Tryon rise! How many cranes do the UP experts estimate will be on site at the same time?  #SouthEndRising
