CN Hotels, the developer lists the hotels as 'under construction' on their site here: https://www.cnhotels.net/hotels

Not sure if that was a recent update or they just forgot to update the site, however. It's going to look weird being shadowed by huge towers if the other two sites on this block go over 20 stories.

I can deal with weird, as long as there is mixed use development that brings much needed ground floor retail to that area.

Didn't see another thread for the Boylan Heights neighborhood (bounded by Western Blvd, the prison, the railroad tracks, and briefly Dawson/McDowell St).  Not sure what the status on The Lynde is, but fencing is up with marketing graphics.  Also a pic of some townhomes around the corner.

There have been several recent residential developments along New Bern/Edenton, and with the coming BRT line, redevelopment will likely accelerate in this part of Raleigh.
Here are some new townhomes nearing completing at I believe Seawell Ave.

The $62 Million building will relocate EA Sports 700 employees from Maitland to downtown, with the potential to have a thousand people working for them by 2025. The western area of Raleigh along Blue Ridge Rd, Edwards Mill Rd, and around the PNC Arena is booming with office and residential density.

Many office buildings are 4 stories in this area, with some, such as this new one, are hitting 6 stories.  This one is being built in the construction area in the above shot.

Ground level retail is also becoming more common.  This part of Raleigh is a bit isolated but is picking up critical mass to support it's own eco-system of employment, shopping and residential.
