Creating a thread for this tower now that it has submitted for building permits last week.  

What we know:

Uses: Mixed use with 9,500 sq ft Retail, 10k sq ft Office and 291 apartments

Height: 30 floors, and ???? ft.

Developers - Stiles & Catalyst Capital Partners

Timing:  Expected to break ground in 3Q2022

Has anyone seen a render yet? I am curious if there are impressions on how this will look. Modern? Brick? 

Stiles has a very specific look in Fort Lauderdale, 300 East is just okay, but their Nashville Project is great.

Probably ~335ft +/- ~20ft with 30 stories. So pretty tall there in the south end Skyline.

Thanks, dude! Been waiting on this rendering. I walk by there pretty often and I still can't picture that big ass tower fitting in between these two buildings, unless the building on the corner is going away? Or maybe I don't have the best feel for space lol

Of course! Finally we all can visualize it better!! Yeah I walk by there often too, and I am pretty sure the building on the corner will be demolished to make way for Camden Exchange because it definitely is massive!

This looks more fitting for Ballantyne or Uptown. Not complaining though because at least it is something…hopefully other rendings show more exterior materials other than just so much glass.

Tbh I don't dislike the blocky look. Blocky, square-y towers can have a classy aura about them and Charlotte doesn't actually have too many new ones (many of them are partially rounded, pointed, or have many terraces and corners).
