That is a prime lot for sure. It was for lease with a build to suit option, but 15 stories is out of the question for that lot. That is current zoning along with most of the lots that front the Interstate...Give me a 2 second break!

Bosa Properties has finished purchasing a small part of the block at 116 15th Ave. North (.25 acre) for $5.6 million that was not part of the dairy.  Once they close the deal on the diary site, they will control the entire block for the development.

Two more plots at 120 and 124 15th Ave. North that are part of the overall footprint have been purchased for $9.1 million.  CCB Nashville still needs to buy 4 additional plots within the total 3 acre site.

New renderings and diagrams released with a bit more information:

- There will be between 1,150 and 1,350 residential units in two of the towers.

- There will be 250 room hotel in one of the towers (no brand given).

- Could be a collective 75,000 sq. ft. of restaurant and retail space between all 4 structures.

- Tallest building could be as tall as 575'.

- The team has filed a specific plan application with Metro and will go before the Metro Planning Commission on Oct. 27 to seek the SP zoning.

The fact that there are that many residences just in those two towers, not including the third, is really awesome. This looks very nice and I’m a big fan of the concave walls and how the bases are almost like small apartment buildings wrapped around the site. Gives a really nice scale and allows for good interaction. It would’ve been nice if they had more distinct shapes though, but I still love it. Great to see height like this stretching out over the interstate on Church St!

When I first saw Bosa was developing it, I thought we would get some fun buildings. Definitely not the caliber of these but something a little more fun than the renderings.

1,350 apartments and 75,000 sq ft of restaurant and retail space is good for this project. Which is going to lead to alot of people living there and alot of pedestrian traffic and vehicle traffic in this area in midtown. Also, with a building at 575 ft that will be the tallest building in midtown and outside of downtown period. I just wish the design of the residential buildings were better.

My goodness, the "ghosted" proposed towers surrounding this project are insane! Incredible that there are so many other projects in that same area. Let's all hope that they proceed so we can see some real density build up in Midtown.

It really is remarkable.  While most of it's peer cities are busy getting excited over the proposal of a single fifteen story building, Nashville is  like 'we'll just be over here simultaneously building entirely new second and third skylines from the ground up, thanks!'
