[The ATX]

As I slowly get back to updating the Austin forum, I'm only going to create individual threads for projects that are at least 600'.  We have 15 and possibly 16 of those now which is enough individual project threads.  This project was formerly known as Travis Tower #2.  It was planned as a Phase II project to the U/C 594', 52-story Travis Tower #1 which is all apartments.  The Travis #1 developer sold the Travis #2 project to the same developer who is building the Nashville Ritz-Carlton.

This is a rendering of the four tallest projects planned for the north end of the Rainey District including the Ritz-Carlton.  This project is the only one of the four rendered that is not U/C.

The Ritz-Carlton developer is rumored to be closing on the site purchase in December.  The owner of the site is Genesis who is building a 594' residential tower known as the Travis.  The Ritz site was previously the site of the approved Travis #2 tower site.
