Is the planning commission elected

I dont know a ton about GR politics, but im just curious how the planning commission is chosen.

Cause there should be a city electioon in 2007, and if someone from this forum ran, id definately campaign for ya (unfortunately I currently dont live in GR's limits but i am working on it)

Members are selected by the mayor and must be approved by the City Commission.

New term limits are set at 3 years. I know one new member was just added, but there are a couple more who will be done after this year.
