I like the name 1401 Church.  It’s very unique.  No other names in Nashville similar to it.

Q&A at NBJ with Jason Koehn, Albion Residential's president about how they came to finding the land, negotiating with Beaman, etc. in regards tot he Albion Music Row project.  A couple items of note:

- Haven't landed construction loans yet.  Earliest they will get underway will be lates spring/early summer of 2023.

- Doing deals is tough everywhere right now because of soaring interest rates. "But if you really look long term, nothing fundamentally has changed. Nashville is still a great place for companies to move. It's still a great place to do business."

Albion Residential is set to seek approval from Metro for its two-tower residential project planned for the Midtown site. The company and its team will go before the Metro Development and Housing Agency Design Review Committee on March 21.

The Metro Development and Housing Agency Design Review Committee has deferred voting on a two-tower residential project Chicago-based Albion Residential plans for a Midtown site.

During a March 21 meeting, Albion requested the DRC not vote and, instead, devote the meeting time to information gathering. 

As the Post reported in November 2022, Albion Residential is eyeing a spring acquisition of the land on which will unfold Albion Music Row. The development will be undertaken on five lots located at the southwest corner of the intersection of McGavock Street and 14th Avenue. The property is located within MDHA’s Arts Center Redevelopment District and, as such, DRC approval is needed.

Albion Residential has closed on the purchase of the site for $31 million from Lee Beaman, and will break ground by the end of the year. All existing structures on the 1.87 acre site will be razed.

The developer plans to incorporate the sign somewhere within the development.  It's a great sign and deserves to be saved.
