You misread that list, vlad. Jacksonville was one of the least "sustainable" cities that they tested.

But nevermind all that. Did anyone actually read their ranking criteria? Cities scored points for having lots of "local" produce, which is a totally nonsense hippie fad that claims you are more environmentally friendly if you eat produce grown within a 100 mile radius. In fact, such a philosophy encourages a waste of resources by creating demand for varieties of local produce in areas unsuited to grow them. Cities also scored points if their local governments are "doing something" about global warming. (hmm ... since the average temps in the American Southeast are actually COOLING, maybe we should get bonus points).

That isn't a sustainability list, it's a "dirty hippie population percentage" list.
