Popular Post cityboi
Here is a rendering of the planned Union Square Apartments next to the Union Square university campus and future downtown Lidl grocery store. A 250 space parking deck will be built behind the complex which also will border the southern leg of the downtown greenway. DCB
Very presumptuous to assume this will ever get built based on the track record for this land thus far.
cityboi
The architecture is bland but I guess this is suppose to "affordable" apartments.
P.SAUNDERS
Very bland, but it's Greensboro style. I have to see it to believe it. Tired of getting my hopes up for quick development in Greensboro vs Durham. Hope I'm wrong!!!
gman430
And I thought the new Westin looked bad.
Rufus
I just don't understand why the city is not taking a firmer stance on development and aesthetics. Like, I thought Raleigh was bad, but man this is just sad. This is a city of almost 300,000 people and its recent developments have been crap. Nothing is being built of quality in the city since the ballpark tower. It's really upsetting. What is the stance of the City Planning Dept.?
