Hi,

Just joined today. I live in Victoria BC, Canada. Well known tourist destination.

For the past 30 years there has been a debate on building an LRT system for the region. After several studies, nothing has been done, although that may change.

Victoria is the first city to have low floor double decker buses (35 in total).

There has been talk of bringing back the streetcar (last ran July 5, 1948).

There are plans to start a commuter rail service from Victoria to communities up north on Vancouver Island (where Victoria is located).
