The 13th arrondissement is not prominently featured in the tourist guides. I thought I'd give it a try because I wanted to see the new library and walk around the waterfront. It was quite a nice walk along the Seine, and the area has been redeveloped with a lot of modern office buildings.

Gare d'Austerlitz

This railway station is only across the river from Gare de Lyon.

RER Train

- Similar to commuter rail, these double deck trains only serve a small number of stations within Paris. It's only a 40 minute ride from the Eiffel Tower to Versailles.
