And to think that in 1777 there were still herds of cows here! The champs (fields) still consist of large stretches of greenery on the place de la Concorde side. Higher up, at the more prestigious end, 71 m wide and over 3 km long, business and luxury trade take precedence.

The LV store is only a suitcase frame. The actual store is a few blocks down, and full of tourists.
