Ground will be breaking in the near future, the mini plies are looking to start during the 1st week of july with excavation proceeding. Steel should begin in August.

it will only be 5 stoires to avoid falling into the category of being a high-rise building. (less than 55 ft to floor line of top story).

Are there code variance issues when classified as highrise?

The biggest code issue is with fire protection. The requirements you need, if considered a highrise, take a significant price increase due to a higher water pressure that is needed.

Also the schedual for completeing the building would not permit a taller structure, there is very limited time to complete this project due to space conflicts with the new Alticor hotel
