Startup airline eyes city

Victory Airlines considers Pittsburgh headquarters, looks for capital

Looks like this is becoming more of a reality for Pittsburgh, the CEO of the fledgling company is all around the metroplex meeting with business leaders and civic groups drumming up future customers. Upon startup the company could bring more then 1,100 jobs instantly to the region.

Last I heard we would still be the maintence HQ for USAirways especially with the new class of jets they are buying, the merger might throw a wrench in that but as far as USAirways was concerned Pittsburgh would keep all maintence jobs and might expand them.
