What's the Status of Heritage Green?

Recommended Posts

Just wondering.  I know the BJU Art Museum, Imagine-nation and the Upcountry Museum are in process.  Anyone know when the completion dates are?

I don't know, but pretty much aren't the Imagination and History Museums both waiting for money to be donated. And until that point i think that they are both at stand-stills. But the history museum is renting out the space for Proms, receptions, etc to raise money, so it should be coming along soon.

So until their goals are reached (which could take a while...) there shouldn't be any date set or anything happening for that matter.

I didn't realize they were not that far along.

The Upstate History Museum shouldn't be too far from being a reality. As GvilleSC said, they're hosting functions over there all the time as fund raisers.

Imagine-Nation is in its infancy though. The old Library was just acquired within the past year or so. I'm not really sure of the status, but it seems that I had read at the time of the library acquisition where it would be several years before Imagine-Nation would have its doors open. They have participated in things such as the Kids Tent at Artisphere, etc. to raise awareness and money.

Hopefully both will get the funding they need to open their doors.
