Entrepreneurial Cities

Great article in the business section of Sundays Greenville News about the most entrepreneurial cities in the US, based on the following three metrics: Average annual new firm births per 1,000 in the labor force, annual average change in new firms, percent of rapid growing firms.

Greenville ranked 23rd in the nation, and ahead of such places as Dallas, Seattle and LA.

Other Carolina cities were Charlotte at 4th and Raleigh at 5th.

That was a good article. I think the rankings of Atlanta and Charlotte in the top 5 bode well for Greenville as well.
