SunTrust Plaza, Phase III, is a proposed development of Portman Holdings, LP for the adjoining 3.5 acre site north of the Garden Offices. Phase III can accommodate up to one million rentable square feet of Class A office and it will offer all the same amenities now enjoyed by tenants at SunTrust Plaza. In addition to the new building, amenities now enjoyed by tenants at SunTrust Plaza. In addition to the new building, Phase III calls for an expansion of the parking structure with an additional 2,500 parking spaces for a total parking accommodation of over 5,000 vehicles.

Sounds good...any chance it will actually be approved?

It's been planned for a number of years, but they reseruct it now & then.

Hopefully it won't be built based on it's current plan b/c Portman in downtown = dead space. Though unfortunately they are expanding Americasmart, but fortunately city design standards have improved meaning there will have to be street level retail now.
