I ran over some Brooklyn and Bronx pics of stripped cars and rundown parts of the cities and it wasnt pretty; busted windows, bent up doors, just straight up stripped, abandoned cars out in the middle of the street like it was disposable trash. kinda gave me a inkling of what living in the part of those areas could be like.

The condition of East St. Louis is so sad. The picture of it with downtown St. Louis in the background is quite upsetting. That a place like this could exist across a river from a vibrant downtown is beyond me. Anybody interested in learning about this city should read Jonathon Kozol's book "Savage Inequalities."

Camden, NJ, isn't much better off. I'm amazed...
