very true... and it isnt just a trend in homes.... it is in the construction industry as a whole. Material costs are skyrocketing due in part to rising oil cost, thus affecting the cost of freight and trucking of materials. I am not saying it can't be done... i am just saying that in today's market, the 232 number would most likely be building cost. then you need to add all of the soft cost, fees of consultants and design teams, contingencies,etc. i definitelythink the skyline would be better off if the courthouse was a tower.
