Feeling listless lately? Here's the cure: a list of rankings that feature our fair city. Absorb the contents and do whatyou can daily -- whether dating, sweating or driving -- to make sure that Orlando stays on the nation's A-list.

Best places to live in the nation

Best places to live in the nation

Orlando's rank: 134 (out of more than 300)

Who did it: Bert Sperling's Best Places

What was measured: Factors included weather, cost of living, cultural opportunities, airport access.

Who came in first: Charlottesville, Va.

Who came in last: Laredo, Texas

An Orlandoan's view: "The weather is awesome, there's a beach nearby, there are things to do downtown. Other than the hurricanes -- but I don't mind, the wind is nice. I can't believe someone would not vote us No. 1." -- John David Fernandez, 20, UCF student.

Our suggestion for improvement: Send a delegation to Charlottesville, buy all Monticello artifacts, open Thomas Jefferson Believe It or Not Museum in Orlando.

Most expensive places to drive

Orlando's rank: No. 4 (out of 84)
