New Mount Mercy apartments debut today

GRAND RAPIDS -- Once again, new life is blossoming on the shaded grounds of Mount Mercy Apartments.

Although it is for senior housing, it is a pretty neat place. That whole Bridge Street Hill area is fascinating, with the neighborhood next to Mount Mercy with the stone tunnel gate cut into the hill (the houses you see on the high hill over I-196).
